Executable Price Quote

The final rate quoted by a financial institution or broker for a currency transaction, which includes the acquisition rate plus any markup.

  • Simple Example: If the mid-market rate for EUR/USD is 1.0950 and the FX markup is 0.0100, the executable price quote provided by the bank might be 1.1050.
  • Numerical Breakdown:
    • Mid-Market Rate: 1.0950
    • FX Markup: 0.0100
    • Executable Price Quote: 1.0950+0.0100=1.10501.0950 + 0.0100 = 1.10501.0950+0.0100=1.1050
